The Commercial Hotel

"Bob Ramsey, who sold his cafe to T. G. Sturtevant in 1908, purchased the hotel on the west side of Main, sometimes called the New Commercial Hotel.  Over the next few years Ramsey completely renovated the building, adding rooms for needed capacity, refitted it throughout, added a bathroom and installed a furnace.  Ramsey's hotel was a popular stopping place along the CRl&P lines for salesmen and was recognized by the state hotel inspectors for its cleanliness and excellent meals."     (From “Formoso: The Tracks of a Town”)
